Super simple
Multiply the total entries in your list with your average score. The one with the biggest net product is the person with the most accumulated happiness

NHP= Avg. Score * n (total entries)

To identify the Weeb Quotient (WQ) , simply divide the NHP (Net Happiness Product) with Total Time (Spent on anime) and you will find who enjoys anime the most.

WQ= NHP/Total Time

For instantaneous Happiness <h> , Plot a graph of ur recent anime activity i.e. scores with time
Then find an equation that satisfies the recorded graph and differentiate it with respect to time. In cases of a periodic function, you can use it to calculate ur weeb quotient at the moment.

EDIT: it is better to use a special number let "J" to represent your total entries
J is basically Total number of episodes watched / 12

this is to make up for the irregular episode numbers in different shows

writing the formulas for ready reference

NHP = (Total Episodes /12)* Avg. Score

WQ= NHP/ Total Time

Isn't it better to do with total no. of episodes instead of total entries?

Also a continuous cumulative graph can be drawn but it may not be differntiable everywhere.

Total time spent 1223 days..
Total anime seen 5183
Average score 0.00
When a real function can be expressed as a fraction whose denominator tends to zero, the output of the function becomes arbitrarily large, and is said to "tend to infinity", a type of mathematical singularity...

@Chronon I picked total no of shows since the ratings are linked with each show and not really each episode. But it doesnt matter much tbh since both the results will have different units

also squiggly line go brr

I almost agree with you, I'd just make a slight adjustment to the formula:

NHP= (1/Avg. Score) * n (total entries)

@Nirinbo why would happiness be inversely proportional to avg score?

Well, no offense, but I enjoy anime mostly for the cool artwork/flashy visuals. Rather than the plot. I like the artwork of anime very much. But the plots of most anime do not interest me...very much at all.

For plots and intellectual content, I usually read novels and science books. I enjoy anime alot. But not for the plot. I enjoy anime primarily for the awesome artwork/flashy visuals.

I love anime. For its artwork. More so than for the plot, in summary.

@BerriesSan the lower your mean score is, the more you love anime because you care about distinguishing as many different levels of good as possible instead of slapping a 8/10 to anything that doesn't make you fall asleep midway.

I decided to do this with the help of chatgpt and my result was 1.53 (it may be somewhat off because I used the stats from the last time I checked)

Also, how can I truly define if I'm actually enjoying anime at all, how high the result has to be?

Also speaking of chatgpt, I can copypaste here the process if you want to

I know your PTW list is bigger than your completed list.

370 x 7.49 = 2771.3
(Counting completed anime and more, but not ptw)

If "NHP= (1/Avg. Score) * n (total entries)"

(1/7.49= 0.1335) 0.1335 * 370 = 49.4

Did I do it right? Does this matter?

@Eternal-Destiny did it for u fam, seems to be 45.5
I'm also unsure of the desired result; if more data becomes available, it can be utilized for further analysis.

this is all just kinda bs btw dont worry too much about it lain

@W3TFT so ur NHP=2771.3 and ur weeb quotient comes out to be around 27.71 approx

Using the improved method of calculating episodic NHP with n=total episodes and then dividing that by 12 to level the irregularity in the episode count of shows, urs comes out to be

NHP= 500*7.49= 3745
so WQ= 37.45

idk how it should matter

Im not gonna use total entries because I didnt rate stuff I put on hold or dropped:
265 x 6.93 = 1836.45 (NHP)

I can't find my WQ beacuse I didn't include all anime that I dropped or put on hold, so total time isn't correct.

Would be nice if MAL had a weighted mean for something like this(based on time-spent for each anime). Especially for anime like One Piece which could be split into like 90 individual seasons at this point.
